Brisbane to Brisbane Short Self-Guided Motorcycle Tour

Brisbane to Brisbane Short is a 4-day, 3-night self-guided motorcycle tour of about 1,230 km, starting and finishing in Brisbane, with the bike and hotels arranged by BikeRoundOz. It is a loop, so the ride starts and finishes in the same city.

Early on is Brisbane, with river-view restaurants, parks, shopping streets and nightlife. Next is the Sunshine Coast hinterland, with rainforest, waterfalls, pineapple plantations and the Glass House Mountains. Then Rainbow Beach for two nights, with an optional 4WD day on Fraser Island. After that, the Bunya Mountains National Park, an isolated range of ancient rainforest and grassland with the largest stand of bunya pines in the world, reached by steep winding roads.

Further along, Toowoomba, the Garden City, perched on the Great Dividing Range at about 700 metres with more than 150 public parks and gardens. The route continues to Byron Bay and Cape Byron, the most easterly point of Australia, with its lighthouse, beaches and relaxed small town. Later comes the Gold Coast, with 57 km of beaches, surf breaks and a green hinterland.
