12 nights through Sri Lanka

Thirteen days, guided, on a Royal Enfield 350 Classic around Sri Lanka’s hills and coast, with luxury hotels and a full support crew.

This is the upmarket version of the operator’s Hidden Sri Lanka route. The riding is the same island loop, roughly 1,450 km at four to six hours a day, but the accommodation is the point of difference. The operator uses handpicked luxury hotels throughout, including converted tea estates such as Madulkelle Tea and Eco Lodge and the colonial Nuwara Eliya Golf Club, which are intended as the counterweight to a day on the bike.

The route starts and finishes in Galle. The first long day heads inland through the southern countryside to Udawalawe, a national park on the edge of a large lake. Day three climbs through jungle and plantations to around 1,500 metres in tea country, and Horton Plains, a high plateau of grassland and cloud forest, leads on to Nuwara Eliya, known as Little England. Kandy, one of the island’s ancient capitals, has a rest day, and the Knuckles range and the UNESCO site at Dambulla sit on the wider route before it drops to the east coast and the southern beaches. The operator notes that elephants are a feature of the island, though sightings are never guaranteed.

The price is per rider and covers the motorcycle, fuel and spares, accommodation, all meals, local and international guides, a support vehicle with crew and mechanic, airport transfers and entrance fees. Flights, visas, insurance and alcohol are extra, and a pillion pays less than a rider. Sri Lankan riding needs an International Driving Licence plus a local Ceylon AA endorsement, which the operator arranges once the booking is confirmed. Departures are listed for February and July 2027, with a maximum of 12 riders on the price panel and 10 in the operator’s FAQ.
