2 nights through Sweden
Pack Race Drivers is the operator’s pack for experienced drivers, aimed at people who want to improve their car control and technique through ice driving. It runs for two and a half days at Arjeplog in Swedish Lapland, takes one or two drivers, and prices start at EUR 17,040 per driver including VAT.
Two intense days are spent in cars from the racing world. The Porsche 992 GT3 is described by the operator as precise and rigorous, a car for working on traction, line and smoothness. The Ferrari 488 Challenge has 670 horsepower, a roll cage, a bucket seat and a six point harness, and the operator says it demands mastery, anticipation and concentration. Each car gets eight sessions of 30 minutes under the Intensif programme.
The coaching is the focus. The operator’s instructors analyse each movement, work on braking and refine your lines, with Performance Coaching listed in the programme. The cars run on studded tyres on frozen-lake circuits. A Lapland Ice Driving jacket is included, and the operator also lists airport transfers, courtesy vehicles, a champagne cocktail each evening, access to the private dining area, a photo report, a concierge service and a Lapland dinner.
Coaching, access to all circuits and the clubhouse, and track assistance are included, with insurance and excess according to the operator’s overview. Hotel Silverhatten, breakfasts, lunches, dinners and Nordic activities are options, and rates vary with the season.
