Bespoke Ice Driving Programme

Lapland Ice Driving also builds ice driving trips to order. The bespoke offer starts from one and a half days at Arjeplog in Swedish Lapland, and the operator says everything it sells can be tailored to your wishes, whether you are travelling as a couple, with family or with friends. No price is published, so the quote comes from the operator.

The operator’s online estimator shows how a programme is put together. You choose one to three days of driving, then a format: Performance with five 30 minute sessions a day, which it puts at about 150 km at the wheel, Intensif with eight sessions and about 250 km, or Exclusif with twelve sessions and about 400 km. The operator recommends at least two days of driving, since technique takes time to build.

You then pick one car for each driving day, so you can change from one day to the next. The estimator lists the BMW M240i, Porsche Cayman GT4, Alpine A110, Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 8, Toyota Yaris GR, BMW M2, Porsche 992.2 GT3, Lamborghini Huracan, Ferrari F8 Tributo and Ferrari 488 Challenge. Instructors coach every session, with a coach in the car beside you, on the operator’s frozen-lake circuits.

Nordic activities can be added, with one activity per half day and up to three: snowmobiling, a road trip, dog sledding, and hiking and fishing. Beyond two activities the operator says you will need an extra night. Coaching, circuits, clubhouse and track assistance are included in the operator’s offers, and accommodation and meals are priced separately.
