Route 66 Motorcycle Tour - Harley-Davidson VIP Experience - 10 Day (Guided)

The VIP Harley-Davidson experience with half the road. Ten days, nine nights and around 1,620 miles, starting with the museum day in Milwaukee and then riding the guided first half of Route 66 from Chicago to Albuquerque.

The Milwaukee day comes first, and for most people booking this tour it is the reason they chose it. The access goes beyond the public visit, into the archive and the collection that includes the oldest surviving Harley-Davidson, and the number of riders taken through it each year is deliberately small. A short 93-mile ride along Lake Michigan then reaches Chicago, where the tour joins the standard guided group.

The eastern half of Route 66 follows, which is the half where the roadside attractions matter rather more than the landscape they sit in. Springfield and St Louis come first, then the World’s Largest Rocking Chair at Fanning and Devil’s Elbow in the Ozarks, then the Blue Whale at Catoosa, Tulsa and Oklahoma City. The Chisholm Trail and the Clinton museum lead to Amarillo, then the long 303-mile ride to Santa Fe, and a short hop finishes in Albuquerque.
