6 nights through Spain

Six nights from a single beachside hotel in Andalucia with pools and a spa, riding a different loop each day and sleeping in the same room throughout. The bike is included and riders choose from the hire fleet.

Malaga is the fly-in point, with a transfer to the hotel and a welcome dinner. The first loop runs into the Ronda valley, taking in Setenil de las Bodegas, a white town where the houses are built into and under an overhanging rock shelf, and the Guadalteba reservoir.

A northeast loop follows through Mondron with lunch in the Sierra de Almijara, the Malaga natural park and the sequence of bends the operator calls the Ocho Loops. An east coastal loop goes out to Lobres and round the Almijara to the Bermejales reservoir, with a pair of complete 360 degree hairpins on the way, which are rare enough anywhere.

A west loop runs through Marbella to the Grazalema natural park, which is the wettest place in Spain and consequently greener than anyone expects of Andalucia, and returns through the Ronda valley. The final day is a 200 mile loop to the Bay of Gibraltar and back through the mountains, with the farewell dinner at the end of it. Hotels, breakfasts, two dinners, the bike hire, maps and GPS routes are included, with fuel, flights and other meals separate. The price is quoted per person. A single base makes this the easiest tour in the range for a rider travelling with family who would rather stay by the pool.
