4 nights through France

Four nights in Provence and on the Cote d’Azur, built entirely around the Monaco Grand Prix, with the price quoted on application.

This is the short version of the Munich to Monaco tour: the same finish without the Alpine crossing, which suits anyone who wants the race weekend and a few days of good driving rather than a fortnight away. The two tours converge for the last part of the week, which is where the money goes in both cases.

The driving starts in the Provencal countryside, with a French wine tasting, then runs out onto the coast roads of the Riviera, which are among the most photographed and the most congested in Europe, and are best driven early. Monaco follows, with a full day aboard a privately chartered superyacht in Port Hercule for the race, with all-day catering, a bar and entertainment. A rest day follows, or a day driving ex-Formula One cars at a private circuit in the south of France.

Access to a rotating fleet of current supercars for the driving days is included, along with boutique accommodation throughout and the Grand Prix hospitality aboard the yacht; international flights and the ex-Formula One day are not. Five days makes this the shortest route to a Monaco race weekend this operator offers, and the dates are fixed by the calendar. Provence in late May is also at its best, before the summer heat and the crowds arrive, and the lavender is not yet out but the hill roads are empty. Anyone whose interest is the race rather than the driving should look at this one first.
