31 nights through Namibia

Thirty-one nights across Namibia and Botswana, self-driven with a support vehicle and crew, staying in lodges, with a six-night mobile safari in the Delta.

The Delta section is what the price buys. Six nights in exclusive mobile camps with a dedicated national park guide and safari vehicle, with all the meals and the drinks included, is a different product from driving yourself between lodges.

Etosha opens the Namibian half at the waterholes, then Damaraland with the engravings at Twyfelfontein, the Skeleton Coast and the Cape Cross seal colony, Swakopmund, Sossusvlei and Deadvlei, Kolmanskop’s sand-filled ghost town and Fish River Canyon. Botswana follows at Moremi in the Okavango Delta, where elephant come down to bathe and the lion follow the game, then Chobe and Savuti, the six-night mobile safari, and an overnight side trip to Victoria Falls, which the local name translates as the smoke that thunders.

The transfers, lodge, guesthouse and mobile camp accommodation with private facilities, the 4×4 with unlimited kilometres, premium cover and zero excess, picnic equipment, a two-way radio, daily breakfasts and the itinerary meals including everything on the mobile safari, the support vehicle and crew, the Botswana park guide and the Victoria Falls transfer are all included; airfares, fuel, cross-border fees, visas, park entry, other meals, tips and insurance are not. The price shown is per person sharing. The dry season from May to October is the window. No wildlife sighting can be promised. The operator reports these departures selling out a year or more ahead.
