Nine nights coast to coast across America, driven in the guest’s own car, from New York City to Palm Springs, with the field capped at a hundred.
A police-escorted run through Times Square is how it starts, which sets the tone: this is a rally run as an event rather than a competition, with the logistics handled and the driving left to the participants.
Two nights in New York open it, then Nemacolin in the Pennsylvania mountains, Indianapolis and Chicago. At Chicago the route offers a choice that solves the dullest part of any transcontinental drive: ship the car and fly to Denver with a shuttle to Vail, or drive the plains leg with a hotel night at Omaha provided. Two nights at Vail follow, then Deer Valley in Utah, Las Vegas with a club event, and the finish at Palm Springs. The western half is where the driving is, through the Rockies and the Wasatch and down into the Mojave.
Nine days for two people, top hotels and resorts throughout, the Times Square escort, four dinner events, special events and group tours, breakfast daily, the Las Vegas club event, open bar events, luggage portering to every room, rally bags and apparel, a professional media team and up to fifteen per cent off Delta airfares are all included; the car, fuel, extra nights in New York or Palm Springs, four optional further dinners and detailing are not.
