2 nights through Portugal
Two nights of supercar driving from Lisbon down to the Algarve, with a four-day version that adds a track day.
Lisbon opens it, with lunch at a rooftop restaurant over the city, a shuttle out to Cascais or a hotel in town, a yacht trip optional and dinner with the tour briefing. The driving starts from Cascais the next morning, with lunch at Porto de Barcas on the way south.
Vila Lara is the destination on the Algarve, with a welcome drink by a fire overlooking the sea and dinner on the terrace. The four-day version adds a day at the Autodromo do Algarve, with four progressive exercises: dynamic control on a cone course, skid control, the evasive manoeuvre known as the moose test, and a track introduction with six guided laps, with lunch in the pit lounge. The return to Lisbon ends under the 25 de Abril bridge, with a food tour at the Mercado da Ribeira before the airport.
Economy flights to and from Lisbon, the transfers and shuttles, the lunches with soft drinks, the car, single rooms with breakfast at the named hotels, a roadmap and walkie-talkies, the dinners and the event photographs are all included, with a tasting menu and wine tour, seven hundred free kilometres and the five-hour track day on the four-day version. Three days is a short trip with a long coast in it, and the Algarve works as readily in February as in July, which is more than can be said for most European driving destinations.
