9 nights through Spain

Nine nights across Andalusia at a civilised pace, built around three cities rather than a pass-bagging list. Malaga starts it and the Mediterranean finishes it.

Granada comes first, where the Alhambra sits against the snow-capped Sierra Nevada behind it, which is one of the great views in Europe and better from a distance than most visitors realise. Jaen follows, then Antequera through olive and almond groves where black fighting bulls are pastured in the open fields beside the road.

Seville gets a rest day, and then so does Ronda, which is the highlight. The town spans both sides of the Tajo Canyon, joined by a bridge a hundred metres above the floor, and its bullring is one of the oldest in Spain and still in use. Two rest days in ten is a generous allocation and the right call here, because both cities take a full day on foot. The final run goes through the sierras and down to the white beaches of the coast.

Edelweiss include a choice of BMW motorcycle, nine nights in hotels with Spanish character, a guide and a tour book. Flights are separate, and a guided city tour of Malaga can be added at 350 euros per person with a 65 euro single supplement. Prices are per person for 2026. This is the gentler of the operator’s two Andalusian itineraries, with the other being an Extreme tour aimed squarely at riders who want corners above all else. Anyone travelling with a passenger, or wanting the Moorish cities as much as the roads, should choose this one.
