The Ultimate Alps Tour
Zermatt, sitting at the foot of the Matterhorn, opens the ride, then Lugano, described as Switzerland’s answer to the Cote d’Azur – ten nights across the Alps.

10 nights through Austria
Ten nights across Austria, Switzerland and Italy, taking in the best Alpine passes and the best Alpine lakes in roughly equal measure. It starts and finishes at Seefeld in Tirol, the operator’s own home base.
Pontresina comes first, then Brunnen on Lake Lucerne, and then a rest day at Zermatt beneath the Matterhorn. Zermatt is car-free, so the last stretch is by train, which is an oddity on a motorcycle tour and entirely worth it for the mountain. The Matterhorn is the most recognisable peak in the Alps and the view from the village does not disappoint.
Lugano follows on the Italian-speaking side of Switzerland, which the operator fairly describes as the country’s answer to the Cote d’Azur, all palm trees and lakeside promenades. Then Val di Sole in Italy and two nights at Collalbo near Bolzano for the Dolomites. Lake Como, Lake Maggiore, Menaggio, the Reschen Pass and the Stelvio all appear along the way, and the final day rides back to Seefeld over more Alpine ground.
Edelweiss include a choice of BMW motorcycle, ten nights in comfortable middle-range hotels with Alpine character, a guide and a tour book. Flights are separate. The Alps riding preparation course is available at 420 euros per person and a guided city tour of Innsbruck at 350 euros with a 65 euro single supplement. Prices are per person for 2026. Of the operator’s several Alpine itineraries this is the best balanced, mixing the famous passes with lakes and towns rather than treating the week as a list of summits to collect.
