6 nights through Spain

The same riding course as the operator runs in the Alps, moved to Tenerife and timed for the months when Europe is too cold and wet to practise anything. Six nights based at Costa Adeje, under the same certified instructor.

The teaching is structured rather than incidental. The week opens with low-speed basic skills in a closed environment, which is where most of the real progress happens even though it is the least exciting part, and then moves out onto mountain roads. Riding order changes frequently through the group so that nobody spends the week locked into one position, and the syllabus covers cornering lines, hairpin technique, braking including downhill and in the wet, blind corners and narrow unlit tunnels.

Tenerife is a shrewd choice of classroom. The island climbs from sea level to 3,715 metres, so the roads supply an almost unlimited quantity of hairpins and gradient, and the weather genuinely varies with altitude, which means wet-weather braking can be practised in actual rain rather than theory. Midweek the course moves to La Gomera for two days by ferry, putting the new technique on unfamiliar surfaces instead of roads that have become predictable.

Edelweiss include a choice of BMW motorcycle, hotel accommodation, the tuition and a tour book. Flights are separate and the inclusions are not itemised in full on the operator’s page. Prices are per person for 2026. This is not a scenic tour and should not be booked as one. It is for riders who want to come back measurably better, and in winter it is the only version of this course running.
