From the historic streets of Trondheim to the dramatic bridges of the Atlantic Ocean Road and the towering mountains of the western fjords, the Atlantic Fjord Classic is a Grand Tour of one of the world’s great motoring landscapes. A journey through Norway’s most spectacular scenery, combining unforgettable driving roads, beautiful coastal towns, rich cultural heritage and some of the country’s finest places to stay.

Norway’s mountains and historic towns set the scene. Travel north from Oslo through Lillehammer to Røros, a beautifully preserved former copper-mining town of colourful wooden buildings and cobbled streets, before continuing to Trondheim, with its historic waterfront and magnificent Nidaros Cathedral.

The Atlantic coast delivers the driving highlights. Follow the spectacular Atlantic Ocean Road, where elegant bridges leap between rocky islands with the open sea on either side. Continue towards Trollstigen, the legendary mountain road whose dramatic hairpins climb through steep-sided valleys, before discovering Ålesund, renowned for its beautiful Art Nouveau architecture and setting beside the fjords.

The western fjords reveal Norway at its most breathtaking. Journey through the quieter coastal landscapes around Kalvåg before reaching Flåm, nestled among the mountains at the head of the Aurlandsfjord. Continue to Bergen, where two nights provide time to explore its historic waterfront and vibrant culinary scene, before heading south to Stavanger and the beautiful coastal landscapes of southern Norway. The return journey takes in Arendal, Jeløya and historic Fredrikstad before a final evening at the elegant Losby Gods manor house outside Oslo.

Throughout the journey, the experience extends well beyond the driving. Classic Rallies brings together hand-picked hotels, excellent dining, private guided experiences and the freedom of exploring Norway behind the wheel of a classic car, with time to appreciate each destination along the way.

Your participation includes 14 nights of carefully selected accommodation, the meals specified in the itinerary, private guided sightseeing, a comprehensive road book, event materials, event photography, and mechanical and medical support. Vehicle hire or shipping, flights, fuel, tolls, insurance, and visas are additional. Prices are per person, based on two people sharing a car and room.
