14 nights through Australia

Australia’s east coast has the surf, the rainforest and the reef, and this guided tour strings all three together between Sydney and Brisbane. Thirteen days of riding, fourteen nights, and 2,536 kilometres that include a flight out to the Great Barrier Reef.

It climbs out of Sydney into the Blue Mountains, with Scenic World on the itinerary, then drops into the Hunter Valley for a wine tour. Thunderbolts Way and the New England tablelands follow to Armidale, then the Waterfall Way down the escarpment to Bellingen, which is one of the finest descents in the country. Byron Bay and the Nimbin hinterland come next, which is the surf and subtropical half of the trip.

The second half heads inland and then back to the water. Toowoomba leads to Rainbow Beach, then Hervey Bay and K’gari, and the bikes are left behind for a day to fly out to Lady Elliot Island on the southern Great Barrier Reef. The Glass House Mountains and Australia Zoo close the ride into Brisbane.

BikeRoundOz supplies the bike, or you can ship your own, and the tour includes fourteen nights in three and a half to four star hotels, daily breakfast, a lead rider, a guide, a support vehicle and welcome and farewell dinners.
