1 nights through Germany

One night of classic car driving in the Black Forest, from Motorworld near Stuttgart, with more than seventy cars to choose from.

The start is at the V8 Hotel at Motorworld Boblingen, which is a converted airport building full of classic car businesses, including the workshop of a well-known restorer, and the hotel rooms are themed accordingly. A safety briefing and the choice of car come first.

Lunch is at a hut belonging to the Traube Tonbach at Baiersbronn, which is one of the better-known kitchens in Germany, with coffee at Weitenburg Castle. The one-day version returns to Motorworld by way of Eberstein Castle. The two-day version carries on to Baden-Baden, with a night at the Roomers, dinner at the casino and a rooftop bar, then the Schwarzwaldhochstrasse the next day: the high road along the ridge, past the Mummelsee and down to the Allerheiligen monastery ruins, with the Nagoldtalsperre dam on the way back.

The car with around a hundred and seventy free kilometres on the one-day tour or three hundred on the two-day, fuel, technical support and a replacement vehicle, the transfers, the lunches and coffee breaks and a roadbook are included, with a night at the five-star Roomers and a three-course dinner on the two-day version; a fifteen-hundred-euro vehicle deductible applies. This is the shortest and cheapest thing in the range, and the easiest to add to a weekend, which is presumably the idea. The Schwarzwaldhochstrasse on the two-day version is the better of the two routes by some distance.
