11 nights through Spain

Eleven nights the length of the Mediterranean, driven in the guest’s own car or a rental, from Lisbon to Monaco, with the price quoted on application.

Two nights in every city is the shape of it, which for a rally is generous and deliberate: six stops, each with a full day in it, and drives short enough that nobody arrives too late to enjoy the place.

Lisbon opens it, then Marbella on the Andalusian coast, Madrid in the centre of Spain, and Barcelona. Saint-Tropez follows across the French border, and Monaco finishes it, which for an event of this kind is the obvious full stop. The driving between them covers the Alentejo, the Sierra Nevada foothills, the Spanish meseta and the Mediterranean coast road into Provence, and an optional five-night extension to Mykonos is offered for anyone not ready to go home.

Twelve days and eleven nights at four and five-star resorts with the taxes, resort and parking fees, several group dinners, special events and group tours, breakfast daily, luggage service to every city and room, open bar events, custom apparel and rally bags, a professional media team and up to fifteen per cent off Delta airfares are all included; the car, fuel, an optional early Lisbon night and the Mykonos extension are not. Rental and shipping assistance is available on request, which matters on a route that starts in Portugal and ends in Monaco. The price is given on application. The dates run late September into October, which is the best of the year for southern Europe: the heat has broken, the coast roads have emptied and the light is at its best. Twelve days for six cities is an unhurried pace by rally standards, and the field is capped at a hundred vehicles.
