2 nights through Spain

Two nights from Catalonia’s mountains to the Costa Brava, guided, rotating through a fleet of fourteen classic Porsches.

This is the coastal version of the operator’s three-day format, and the Costa Brava is the reason to pick it: the corniche roads above the coves north of Palamos are among the best driving in Spain and a world away from the resort strip further south.

A private morning at the Autodromo de Terramar opens it, where the collection is presented and the first test drives run on a 1923 oval that has been left largely as it was. The route then climbs through the Montserrat massif, a range of eroded rock pillars above a Benedictine monastery, with lunch at Sitges and a night at the Hotel MonSant Benet, where dinner is at the Michelin-starred L’O. Montseny Natural Park follows, forested and cool, with the descent to the coast and a night at Hostal Empuries beside the Greek and Roman ruins at Empuries. A full day on the Costa Brava closes the driving, among the cliffs, the coves and the medieval seaside towns, before the return to Terramar.

The driving of all fourteen cars with insurance and fuel, two backup Porsches with a mechanics team, three support vehicles including a luggage shuttle, eight staff including certified Porsche Experience instructors, every breakfast, lunch, dinner and tasting, the hotels, the parking and the audiovisual content are all included; international flights, transfers, extra nights, travel insurance, drinks outside the tastings and tips are not. The price shown is per person sharing. Late spring and early autumn are the seasons, since the coast road in August is busy and slow. The luggage shuttle is a small detail that matters on a trip like this, since a classic Porsche has very little room for anything beyond the people in it.
