3 nights through Italy

Three nights driving current Ferraris through Emilia-Romagna and the northern Italian lakes, with a track day in a Ferrari Challenge car.

Maranello opens it, which is where Ferrari has been built since the 1940s, with the latest models out on the regional roads and the museum in the town: championship-winning Formula One cars, the road cars that paid for them and a few prototypes.

Lake Garda follows, with the Gardesana along the western shore, the hillside villages above it and Riva del Garda at the northern tip where the cliffs come down to the water. Lake Iseo comes next, which is quieter, with vineyards and medieval lakeside towns, and a guided tour of the Riva boatyard at Sarnico, with a private trip out on one of the mahogany boats and the museum. The track day is at the Autodromo di Modena, Ferrari’s own test circuit, in an F488 Challenge with coaching and timed laps, and no racing licence is required.

Four-star hotels, welcome drinks, the lunches with soft drinks, the dinners, the Riva boatyard tour and boat trip, museum entry with a coffee break, the lake boat tour, an instructor following in a support and replacement vehicle, walkie-talkies, a roadmap and digital route, daily vehicle checks and photo and video documentation are all included; no car need be owned or shipped. The fleet runs to an SF90 Stradale, a 296 GTB, an F8 Tributo and a 488 Spider. Four days is short, but it covers the factory, the museum, two lakes and a circuit, which is a good deal of Italy for the time.
