Girl's Ride: The Road of the Gods (Greece, Women-Only)

Six nights and around 634 miles through the Peloponnese on a Royal Enfield, following the operator’s Road of the Gods route, ridden as an all-female group. The single 2026 departure has already sold out, which says something about the demand.

Rafina opens it, then the Corinth Canal and Archaia Nemea, with the Sanctuary of Zeus and the Neolithic remains around it. Lake Doxa and Kalavryta follow in alpine country that visitors rarely associate with Greece.

Elliniko comes next by way of the Cave of the Lakes, a stalactite system of terraced underground lakes, with the stone villages of Dimitsana and Karytaina on the road. Monemvasia follows through Sparta, where Leonidas stands in bronze beside the ancient site, and the Byzantine hill city of Mystras, finishing at the sea fortress of Monemvasia, which is invisible from the landward side of its rock.

Nafplio is next by way of Geraki castle and the Elonas monastery, built onto a cliff in the Parnon range, with the Argolic Gulf coast beyond, and the return to Rafina takes in the theatre at Epidaurus and sixteen miles of off-road in the Geraneia mountains. Bike rental is included and the price is quoted per person. Women-only departures remain a small part of the guided motorcycle market and tend to book out well ahead, partly because mixed groups often end up split by pace and experience in ways that suit nobody. The route itself is identical to the standard version, so anyone whose dates do not fit can ride the same ground on a regular departure instead.
