Pacific Coast Highway Motorcycle Tour - Seattle to Los Angeles

The whole of the American West Coast, top to bottom, in one ride. Fourteen nights and around 1,655 miles from Seattle to Los Angeles, following Highway 101 and Highway 1 for almost their entire length, through three states and a landscape that never stops changing.

It opens in rainforest. Olympic National Park on the Washington peninsula gets the first full day, with moss-hung trees and a coastline that feels genuinely remote, before the route works south through Ocean Shores into Oregon. Seaside and Newport follow on the Oregon coast, where Newport earns a free day, and the distances stay comfortable at 110 to 160 miles.

California arrives with the redwoods. Crescent City leads into Redwood National Park and on to Shelter Cove and Mendocino, then the Sonoma wine country carries the route down to San Francisco for two nights and a free day. From there it is the best-known section: Monterey, the Big Sur cliffs, Pismo Beach, Santa Barbara, and the final run into Los Angeles.
