3 nights through Spain

Three nights from Barcelona into the Pyrenees and Andorra, driving a supercar in convoy.

The choice of car is unusually wide for a trip this short: a Ford Mustang, a Bentley, a Ferrari, a Porsche or a Lamborghini, which covers a good deal of ground between muscle, grand tourer and mid-engined exotic.

Barcelona opens it, and the route climbs out of the city onto the Pyrenean passes, which are long, high and far emptier than the Alpine equivalents, with a border crossing into Andorra. Andorra itself is a curiosity worth the drive: a principality of seventy-odd thousand people in a mountain valley, jointly headed by a French president and a Spanish bishop, with duty-free shopping and a road network built almost entirely on switchbacks. The full day-by-day itinerary was not available on the operator’s page, so the stops and the hotels are worth asking for at booking.

The self-drive supercar of choice is included; the detailed inclusions were not itemised on the page and are worth confirming at booking, and the operator’s usual Indian GST and TCS charges may apply to the trip cost. The price shown is per person. Late spring to early autumn is the window, since the high Pyrenean passes carry snow outside it, though Andorra itself is a ski destination in winter. Four days makes this a long weekend, and the convoy format means company on the road rather than a solitary drive. It is also the only European trip the operator runs in a supercar rather than a 4×4, which puts it closer to a driving holiday than an expedition.
