6 nights through Turkey

Six nights in a loop from Antalya on a Royal Enfield, and by review count this is the single most popular trip the operator runs anywhere in the world.

Antalya opens it in the Kaleici old town, then Kas along the Lycian coast, taking in the ruins at Phaselis, the church of Saint Nicholas, who was bishop here long before he became Father Christmas, and the rock tombs and theatre of Myra, cut into the cliff face.

Dalyan follows by way of Patara, an ancient city with eighteen kilometres of beach and dunes behind it, and the canyon at Saklikent, where lunch is served on platforms over the water. More rock tombs look down on Dalyan itself.

Pamukkale is next, climbing to 530 metres, and the travertine terraces there are the headline: white calcium shelves built up over millennia by mineral springs, with the ruined city of Hierapolis and its theatre on the hill above. Egirdir follows by way of Salda, a lake of white sand and startlingly turquoise water that gets called the Turkish Maldives and whose mineralogy is studied as an analogue for Mars, with lavender fields and the birds at Burdur optional. The return to Antalya runs through the Kovada reserve with lunch above the Karacaoren dam. Bike rental is included and the price is quoted per person. Six nights, moderate distances and a great deal of history for the money explain the review count, and the Lycian coast road is a genuinely good ride in its own right.
