Three nights in the Blue Ridge Mountains with two supercar driving days and over 250 miles of ridgeline road, with the price quoted on application.

The base is a private mountain estate of twelve thousand acres, which is larger than a good many English parishes, and the trip opens there with a cocktail hour and dinner. One of the evening meals is served in the estate’s wine cellar.

The first driving day runs along the Blue Ridge Parkway, which follows the crest of the range with long views either side, with a light lunch and a run on through dense forest into the pastoral Draper Valley. A curated moonshine tasting is available as an add-on, which is more historically apt in these mountains than it sounds. The second day takes in the Skyline Drive, the hundred-mile road through Shenandoah National Park, with the two days together covering more than two hundred and fifty miles of ridgeline.

Access to a rotating fleet of current supercars for the two driving days is included, along with three nights on the estate, the cocktail hours and the dining, the guides and concierge support and the onward chauffeur transfers; flights, the moonshine tasting, the sporting clays and the fly fishing are not. Four days with a final morning on the estate’s wellness facilities or golf course is the format. October is the season here, for the colour on the parkway, and both of these roads were built in the 1930s as scenic routes rather than as transport, which is why they are as good as they are.
